The occupation of public facilities (street and pedestrian way) by street vendors creates following problems such as making trotoir become unaccesible to pedestrian and squeeze vehicles passageway. The other problems are lack of support facilities for pedestrian and street vendors for example trash bin, clean water, sewage; and street vendor activities dependence upon shop business hour limiting their own business as well. These problem prompt some ideas to rearrange street vendor activities in Dalem Kaum corridor. Using descriptive analitic method, these studies take place through literature <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> exploration, field observation, data analizing, interviewing street vendor, shopkeeper and related authorities. Then mapping street vendor characteristics through field observation to identify available potencies and existing problems. The concept of rearrangement starts from space and time of activities approach. Another aspect to facilitate street vendor are rearrangement of vehicle and pedestrian circulation, parking space, and support facilities such as street furniture, vegetation, street lighting. The integration between street vendor characteristics and their supporting aspects become a basis for rearrangement of street vendor in this corridor. This studies hopefully able to provide some consideration materials for city <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> government, architects and urban planners.
