The research is conducted in Kedunggede Village and surrounding area which is include into Distruct Banymas and District Cilacap, Central Java, at 268000 – 274000 mE dan 9174000 – 9179000 mN (UTM WGS 84 zona 49S) with an area of approximately 30 km square. This research is done taking outcrops description and lab analysis. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The research area is divided into three geomorphological units, such Sengkala Homoclinal Ridge Unit, Penusupan Homoclinal Ridge Unit, Kedunggede Fold Hills Unit, and Ci Haur Flood Plain Unit. Based on morphology scape, the research area include to maturity geomorphic stage. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The Formation which exposed in research area are Rambatan Formation, Halang Formation, Kumbang Formation, and Tapak Formation. Based on lithological charateristics, there are five unofficial units in research area, from bottom to top, Siltsone-Mudstone Unit of Middle Miocene, Sandstone-Mudstone Unit of Upper Miocene-Lower Pliocene, Breccia Unit of Upper Miocene-Lower Pliocene Unit, and Alluvial Unit. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> There are lot of geological structures in research area, such as strike and dip, Cikopeng Thrust Fault, Cingebul Thrust Fault, Cikopeng strike-slip fault, Cingebul Anticline, Lawimanggung Anticline, Lawimanggung Sincline, and Igir Sati Sincline.
