As a result to this, the researcher aims to investigate the geological condition, stratigraphy, structure, and the characteristics as well as the spread of limestone facies in the mentioned area. The research methods used geological and limestone facies mapping, laboratory analysis, and studio analysis. In the research area there was seen many landforms such as karst hills, volcanic hills, and alluvial and coastal plain. Based on lithostratigraphical characteristic the oldest rock unit which was exposed in the research area was Tuff Unit was deposited from Late Oligocene to Early Miocene. The unit was then intruded by the Andesite A Unit in the Early Miocene. The Massive Limestone Unit was then deposited unconformly with the Tuff Unit. The Massive Limestone <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Unit was interfingering with Bedded Limestone Unit and Marl-Limestone Unit in Middle Miocene – Late Miocene. The units were then intruded by Andesite B Unit in Late Pliocene. Deformation phase which were occurred started in Late Pliocene that created normal faults and in Plio-Pleistocene that created wrench faults and anticline. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The limestone facies in research area was divided into four facies association which were Platform Interior, Platform Margin, Foreslope – Toe of Slope, and Open Sea Shelf. The carbonate deposition model were referred to isolated platform depositional model wich were deposited above volcanic island. text
