Therefore, planning a spin-off requires in-depth review of the strategy -adopted in order to run smoothly and will be Able to Anticipate potential problems that may occur. Sharia Business Unit (UUS) Bank BTN has sufficient readiness to do the spin-off in terms of management commitment, financial performance, human resources, information technology, as well as products and networking. In addition, the new Islamic Banks (BUS) has the potential to grow higher as experienced by of sharia banks after the spin-off process. Nevertheless there are some potential <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> problems that may Arise in the process of spin-offs. Stategic development actions on this Final Project are based on urgency analysis, readiness level of analysis, identification of potential problems analysis, SWOT analysis and TOWS matrix. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Recommendations from this study is to select the models of establishing a new BUS by spinning off the UUS to a BUS since it is are relatively easy to adop and Able to minimize the potential problems. The total time required to implement the spin-off from the preparation stage to the operation stage of the new BUS is about 10 months.
