VIRTUAL LAB OF ANALOG AVO METER USING MACRO VISUAL BASIC POWERPOINT TO TRAIN THE SKILL OF INITIAL PROCESS ON ELECTRICAL MEASUREMENTS

This study aims to train students' skill of initial process in carrying out the measurements with AVO meter. In practical electrical measurements, the practitioner is often not aware using its devices, so that the devices can not result in damage to work properly. Therefore, we had made a virtual lab of Analog AVO Meter using Macro Visual Basic PowerPoint. First, we had to organize of the material on the AVO meter, to design the display media, to classify subject matter section on each ppt slide, and to create their hyperlinks. Second, we had to create many buttons, such as: command button, option button, combo box and text box then we write a computer program on macro visual basic editor to activate the desired command. This virtual lab of AVO meter can train students' skill of initial process in carrying out measurements with AVO meter such as: how to measure voltage, current, and resistance; how to care AVO meter according to its function, and how to examine the initial process of using analog AVO meter.
