The simulation and optimization method are the two commonly used method in water resource management. In this thesis, the simulation <br /> and optimization method are used to getting a utilization methode of water resource from Lowo Bajo reservoir in Ende district South East <br /> Nusa need varios. Streamflow to Lowo Bajo of reservoir during 20 years with calculation NRECA model. Coefisien corelation between observed discharge with calculate discharge NRECA model it 0.55 for 1999 and 0.63 for 2000. The simulation method used in the tesis for the try varios used of water need such as domestic use, irrigation, <br /> industri and harbour. One of four need the priorities are domestic use and irrigation. The result of several time simulation is 10336,5 <br /> m3/month for domestic use and irrigation with the planting pattern of rice-rice-bean for each areal irrigation 75 ha for planting season I,138 ha for planting season II and 115 ha for planting III. Be need the two method will found the recomendation pattern for water utilization of Lowo Bajo reservoir it is for domestic use 10336,5 <br /> m3/month and irrigation by areal irrigation 86 ha for planting season I, 138 ha for planting season II and 115 ha for planting season III
