This method is the latest development of Precise Point Positioning measurement method (PPP) which is an absolute position measurement method that uses the data in the form of an ionospheric-free combination of phase and pseudorange. This method can be an alternative method other than the method of RTK and rapid static which can also be used on the acquisition of ground control points coodinates for the rectification of satellite imagery. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This study used a Quickbird satellite image of Bandung in 2009 with a spatial resolution of 0.6 m which were cut to fit the area of study that determined. To determine the RTPPP method’s ability in its utilization on the ground control points measurement for image rectification and its comparison with the other methods which are RTK, rapid static and Online PPP, then there will be a comparison of the accuracy rates of the rectification results of each ground control points coordinates data as well as the comparison of the duration and the technical aspects of the data acquisition of each methods. Through this study it can be concluded that the RTPPP method has the better ability than the RTK, rapid static and Online PPP method in the provision of ground control point data for image rectification in terms of accuracy with RMSE value of 0.23 m and also in the technical aspects that required in the data acquisition process. It's just that this method requires a longer observation time than the RTK method. text |
