In 2006, Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) noted that the farm subsector contributed 12.75 percent of the total GDP of agriculture sector at national level, it includes all dairy goat farm. Cultivation of dairy goats, is a part of the important livestock sector because it has nutritional value and high commercial value. Goat milk is also believed to have efficacy as a medicine for certain diseases. Within the last few years, demand for goat's milk continues to increase along with the awareness of society to consume foods and beverages that have high nutritional value and health care. CV. Lakta Tridia addressing this business opportunity to participate in animal husbandry development in Indonesia since 2005. <br /> <br /> <br /> Although is supported by physical assets and sufficient scale of business, CV. Lakta Tridia still experiencing problems in the field of profit creation and has a weak business competitiveness. The company have difficulties to pay its short-term obligations, has low milk productivity, also management of physical assets and human resources is not optimal. The lack of top management experience in the strategy of business management is the root cause. To overcome these problems, CV. Lakta Tridia to reform the operation strategy. Cost efficiency through streamlining the organizational structure, revamping the production management, and optimizing the company resources became the main focus of its turnaround agenda. <br /> <br /> <br /> The operation strategy which is discussed in this study originated from the concept of Slack and Lewis, 2002 through theory of operation strategy matrix. In mapping strategies to improve the internal processes of management, adopted the Banlanced Scorecard concept by Kaplan and Norton, 1996. Through the adoption of these two concepts, the result of operation strategy will focus on the creation of profit and to improve business competitiveness. text
