Summary: | Land subsidence occurs in big cities in Indonesia including Pantai Mutiara, a reclamation area in northern Jakarta. To observe this phenomenon, one of the technologies that can be utilized is Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS), in which this technology is still rarely used in the observation of Land subsidence. Laser scanner can be used as an instrument of the mapping of topography to monitor the land subsidence phenomenon. By modelling the same object with different time epoch, changes that occur on the object can be recorded and counted for the purposes of research. Three dimensions models ( 3D ) on this research were obtained from two periods of measurements, on October 2011 and February 2013. After a data processing and analysis, the results obtained from this research is a model of Pantai Mutiara area and the estimation of land subsidence rates and its distribution. In 17 months, the result of land subsidance rates from 2 epoch at Pantai Mutiara Area is 16,7 cm with subsidence rate 11,8 cm/year. These results also indicated that part time Laser Scanner technology also can be developed and used for mapping and deformation monitoring, including land subsidence. But there are still some errors from the modeling done due in some sectors where there are areas of vegetation located which causes the surface of the object of observation becomes inconsistent. |
