Summary:This research was developed to determine what factors are affecting the level of acceptance of Internet banking technology. Internet banking has been provided by the service provider (bank), however the acceptance rate is still low. Level of use of Internet banking is still considered low when compared with the other services such as ATM, and Mobile Banking. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the extent of the influence from the factors that influence the level of Internet banking acceptance. This model was developed from basic models the technology acceptance model. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Previous research has identified many factors that affect the level of Internet banking acceptance. In this study, three new factors are added as part of model development, they are the socialization / promotion, education, and the perceived strength of security. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on sample with 177 respondents, some of the factors that influence the level of Internet banking acceptance is socialization and promotion, perceived strength of security, subjective norms, and past. Other factors such as website information quality, website service quality, and education did not affect the level of Internet banking technology acceptance.
