It’s operating on Technical Consultation field especially on Material Engineering and training organizer service. Founded on 2005, it has a vision to be a professional consultant company on material engineering field that emphasizes reliability, efficiency, and on-time service. PT. ABC has an enormous business growth, which is able to reach 47% growth within 5 years. But on the other hand, the company is only able to capture 5% of market share on the industry. <br /> <br /> <br /> In order to understand the problem that is faced by PT. ABC, the research uses a methodology that is based on key success factors determination, SWOT, and the weighting of each component that are analyzed. The factors determinations that are influenced the conditions are analyzed through Environmental Scanning. The scanning is then being developed into IFAS and EFAS Matrix so that the company’s position can be reckoned. Based on analyze, it is founded that the real problem that is faced by PT. ABC is caused by the improper factors determination of competitiveness strength. This problem causes the company to be unable to compete well. <br /> <br /> <br /> Through Industry Matrix, it can be analyzed that the competitiveness level of PT. ABC is not as high as expected. There are four (4) factors that are considered to be crucial in industry in which PT. ABC has to be better. The strategy that matches to be implemented in order to increase the competitiveness of PT. ABC is Growth Strategy that is focusing on Vertical Growth Strategy. <br /> <br /> <br /> This strategy is then being developed into functional and competitive strategies. Competitive Strategies that are formulated consist of Cost Leadership, Partnership, Market Development, and Product/Service Development. In the meantime, the functional strategies consist of the improvement of Human Resources, Marketing, and Operational. With the strategies implementation, it is expected that PT. ABC will be able to have to proper strength and increase its competitiveness in engineering consulting industry. text
