Root cause analysis results showed that the cause of not reaching the level of service level because of the number of Out&#8208;of&#8208;Stock and inaccuracy data. OOS level DCK per day average is 5% while the restriction that allowed only 1%, accuracy of inventory data by 77% and 69% food division to division non&#8208;food. <br /> <br /> <br /> The use of exponential smoothing techniques in forecasting lead to a high forecasting errors because it does not consider the seasonal effect on the demand for goods in DCK. Some of the items which experience high OOS caused delays because there are no standards of reorder point (ROP), so the stock is declining while demand continues to grow without any receipt of goods. While the data inaccuracies due to the lack of clear marking the location due to improper placement of goods so that the difficulty calculation of physical stock. Another factor is the lack of accuracy in recording employee invoice cause data items in and out of DCK was wrong. <br /> <br /> <br /> Improvements proposed are considering a new approximate technique that can consider seasonal effects so that the percentage of forecasting error is low. DCK need to make a point as a standard formulation of an order to prevent the occurrence of ordering goods OOS. Tagging code racks and signs that clearly is an attempt to prevent the occurrence of errors and the laying of goods to increase accuracy of employees it is proposed to use a system of reward and punishment. <br /> <br /> <br /> The results stated that the percentage of errors by using seasonal forecasts have a lower error rate than the exponential smoothing technique. While the use of points as a benchmark time order ordering the goods proved to avoid the occurrence of OOS in DCK. Tagging code racks and signs that clearly expected to reduce errors laying of goods so that no items are missing. Reward and punishment system is expected to improve accuracy and productivity of administrative staff. <br /> text
