Description
Summary:Seismic reflection method is one of the most important methods in the exploration of oil and gas . Along with the development of computer technology , the techniques in image processing began experiencing changes . migration methods began to be applied in image processing , especially for exploration targets that have complex structure . In areas with complex structures often do not reflect the signal reflections actual subsurface conditions . Reflector tilted , fault anticline and syncline forms often do not describe the results of stacking the actual conditions so that the crosssection does not correspond to the actual geological conditions . Therefore to resolve the problems of seismic data to be migrated after stack ( Post Stack Migration ). This study discusses the process of post stack migration with Kirchhoff method . The parameters used in Kirchhoff migration and velocity models used in the migration process . Then the results of the migration process compared to the data stack before migrated.
