In addition, geological structures that control the spread of formation interest to be learned such as intensive thrust fault and folding. In addition, good outcrops are data to support the research, so the geological conditions of the study area can be described in detail. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Morphology of study area shows hills and valleys, controlled by structures with rectangular and lineament patterns. It is seen also from the hills in northern <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> part of the study area with overturned bedding. While in the middle part, there are hills with steep dip bedding. Also in this part, there are two valleys that are <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> controled by thrust fault. In the southern part there are hills with a gentle dip bedding. Field observations showed variations in lithological units. Stratigraphically from the young, they are consists of Breccia-sandstone deposited at Late Miocene and equalized with Gunung Hurip Member, Sandstone-claystone unit, Claystone Unit, Sandstone unit, and Claystone-sandstone Unit deposited at Late Miocene-Early Pliocene and equalized with Halang Formation. Variations lithologies indicate development of sedimentation in submarine fan system. Compression regime in Plio-Pleistocene caused folding and faulting. Geological structure in research have anticline and thrust fault. This tectonic also caused uplift, so this area have became to land area until present. text
