Summary: | Batak Toba traditional house is one of the historic buildings, Indonesian cultural products of the Batak tribe located in North Sumatera. This building has undergone various transition function from the start it was built to current so that the necessary reconstruction to overcome the damage that may occur. One of the custom homes that are in Huta Sialagan an object of study in this research. The traditional house is an example of a building that has a complete ornaments that characterizes Batak Toba Custom Homes so it is suitable to be used as the object of research. This research was conducted with close range photogrammetry method that begins with the shooting of objects through both terrestrial and aerial photography. The shooting is done to obtain a model of three-dimensional (3D) objects of historic buildings use non-metric cameras. The results are a continuation of the reconstruction for documentation and further research in the field of architecture. The photos that resulted from the shooting and then processed using software PhotoModeler Scanner to generate the surface of the common features of the building and the point cloud to a more complex features such as statues and carvings. This model is expected to provide a good representation of the architectural model building. |
