One of the method that used for analyze tidal station density is creating co-tidal and co-range maps because those maps can use to predict the tidal as a result from extraction of tidal components. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> It takes several steps to analyze the tidal station density. First step is tidal data extraction from global tide model. In that extraction process, the author conducted the distribution of coordinate points in Java Island area. Then, those points and and some tidal components processed by TMD (Tide Model Driver) to get amplitude (co-range) and phase (co-tidal). Next step is making co-tidal and co-range maps to analyze the tidal station density. From all data process that the author did, in North Java coastal area needs tidal station every 100 km because the tidal characteristic in North Java area has co-tidal density contour. In the other hand, in South Java area the co-tidal contour is more tenuous so the tidal station can be made every 500 text |
