Each RPH has harvest time by the age of planting eucalyptus trees. Annual Technical Plan (RTT) leaf collection is made to regulate the flow of raw materials from the RPHs to the plants , but the RTT has not considered the optimization of distribution, number of carriers, carrier fleet assignment and scheduling of raw materials. This study uses the transportation problem for the distribution of raw materials eucalyptus leaves where the output of this research is a task and schedule the transport during the operational period. These issues can be formulated into a model integer programe. To complete the model, this research proposes the use of heuristic method for calculating the amount of the transport carrier, the carrier fleet assignment and scheduling of raw materials during the year. The model proposed in this study consists of four phases, namely : transport distribution model of eucalyptus leaves every RPH for each plant every month, the calculation of the number of transport carriers of eucalyptus leaves , the determination of duty trucks, and truck scheduling. The results of the optimization of transportation costs indicates that the distribution of the raw material of eucalyptus oil is changed according to the plant's production capacity should be. KPH Yogyakarta has 4 (four) of eucalyptus oil refineries that are Sendangmole Factory, which has a capacity of 12 tons per day, Gelaran with a capacity of 10 tons per day, also Dlingo and Kediwung, each has production capacity of one tons per day. Eucalyptus leaves supplied from 14 RPH. The results of calculation of the amount of the carrier with a heuristic approach is seen that for each month need a truck to transport eucalyptus leaves to each plant that is three (3 ) units of trucks for the month of April and May, two (2 ) units for the month of June to October, and one unit for month of November. The proposed model has better results than the existing condition and the random models. text |
