This study consisted of half of Block A, Block B, and Block C, on Duri Formation, on Upper Duri Formation Interval, that have the maximum thickness only 8 metres. <br /> <br /> <br /> Duri Formation is deposited on Early Miocene, when the border fault is no longer active (Post-rift). This formation is consisted of Rindus, 240' sand, and 140' <br /> <br /> <br /> sand, and deposited on estuarine system. The data that is available is gamma ray log and core, and also the biostratigraphic report, to determine the age and depositional environment of the Upper Duri Formation interval. <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on analysis, Upper Duri Formation interval consisted of three transgressive depositional cycles, that infill the incised valley that has been formed <br /> <br /> <br /> earlier. From well to well correlation and log data, the best reservoir of this system is deposited on the centre of the study area, trends NE to SW, and interpreted as the trends of sedimentation of Upper Duri Formation interval. text
