Lembang Fault is one of the active faults that has the potential to become an earthquake source. North Bandung’s vulnerability to earthquake not only caused by its location closed to the earthquake source, but also for its socio-economic aspects. Socio-economic vulnerability variables used in this research are population density, vulnerable groups, education level and poverty level. This research was conducted by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and weighted sum.

The result of this research is a map of socio-economic vulnerability to earthquake for North Bandung. Based on the analysis, the most influential variables in a sequence are population density, education level, poverty level and vulnerable groups. The final results of this research shows that Langensari Village, Cibodas Village and Cihideung Village have the highest level of vulnerability. Meanwhile, the lowest vulnerabilities are owned by Pasirkaliki Village, Cibabat Village and Citereup Village. text
