Summary:Setiabudi polder pump system is one of flood control systems in DKI Jakarta. Setiabudi polder pump system has several troubles and problems including unoptimal function of the pumps, water gate, strainer waste, etc. that can interfere its function as flood control. Therefore, it necessary to study the performance improvement of Setiabudi polder pump system comprehensively including study of drainage pump installment that can joint Cideng river to West Canal Flood to optimize its function as flood control. In this research will be analized the drainage load of West Setiabudi Reservoir, the actual condition of West Setiabudi Reservoir and Cideng River, storage capacity improvement of West Setiabudi Reservoir, and design capacity of West Setiabudi Reservoir and Cideng River pumps, in Hydrology Analysis and Hydraulyc Analysis. <br /> <br /> <br /> In Hydrology Analysis will be obtained the flood discharge design for certain periode by using Nakayashu flood discharge method. Then from Hydraulyc Analysis using HEC-RAS 3.1.3 software wil be obtained the pump capacity design of West Setiabudi Reservoir for 15 m3/s (5 units pump @ 3 m3/s) and Cideng River for 10 m2/s (5 units pump @ 2 m3/s).
