| Summary: | The characterization of saturated and polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) was carried out on a superficial sediment HycarFos and mussels Mytilus galloprovincialis as well. On the one hand, this work has shown that the surface sediments HycarFos taken in the Gulf of Fos has been contaminated by hydrocarbon. This is explained as the Gulf of Fos area associated directly to the refineries and petrochemical industries. On the other hand, to take control of the analytical procedures (extraction and soxtherm) and technical GC-MS. The results on mussels extraction is currently not satisfactory and we can consider for other extraction techniques or fractionation in future. |
