Summary:Project Control (PC) team is a functional team at Reliability and Maintenance subdivision and Sumatra Light North Operations division of PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia. In 2008, the team’s performance was fall-shorted. This final project’s objective is to develop a program to improve team capability in achieving its objectives in 2009. The final project utilized system thinking to reconstruct a model. The model provided informa-tion on system behaviors and conditions. By comparing behavior and condition raised during normal and upset condition, the sources of the problem were identified. Mitigation programs were developed to eliminate sources of the problems. The development program is an integrated mitigation programs. The final project introduces new performance measures, new control procedure, and development program to improve organic controls mechanism behavior. The new performance measures are leading indicators which are maximum allowable project close-out in the fourth month is two projects and maximum allowable not-in-stock project materials is one kind of item. Lagging indi-cators are minimum level of project close-out compliance to be 90% and minimum allowable not-in-stock project materials to be 90%. The new control mechanism is to include control procedure for abnormal inputs. Organic system behavior development is to include procedure to solve un-identified problem.
