Multiphase pseudopressure is used to predict the performance of two phased reservoir oil-gas more accurately. Pseudopressure function is defined as the integral of the reservoir parameters such as oil relative permeability (kro), oil viscosity (μo), and the oil formation volume factor (Bo)...

Pseudopressure function is defined as the integral of the reservoir parameters such as oil relative permeability (kro), oil viscosity (μo), and the oil formation volume factor (Bo) towards pressure, because the relative permeability is a function of fluid saturation. Thus, to evaluate the pseudo pressure of oil in the case of multiphase flow, the very fundamental thing is to know the relation between oil saturation and pressure. Several approaches are used to determine the relation between oil saturation and pressure. Some of them are analytical solutions which are derived from the diffusivity equation, but those solutions tend to have a level of complexity to use and are often not very valid, because many of the assumptions were used in the derivation. And for that purpose, the main objective of this final thesis is to find a simpler solution to determine the relation between oil saturation and pressure to evaluate the pseudopressure function in case of multiphase flow. The chosen approach is using numerical simulation to obtain semi-analytical solution. The method which used to obtain the solution is flowing the well at constant rate and constant GOR, and then the value of oil saturation and pressure at every radius over time is recorded. The proposed equation to determine oil saturation at certain value of pressure show that the profile of oil saturation over pressure affected by density of fluid (API). Pseudopressure function which is evaluated by using that correlation is used to predict reservoir performance in the form of inflow performance relationship (IPR) for solution gas-drive reservoir. text
