Summary:Underwater pipeline, which is an infrastructure that was built with technology that requires a deep understanding of science as well as the relatively large cost requires a special treatment, ie in terms of the planning process until the installation of underwater pipeline pipe treatment processes. In the process of installing the pipe in the coastal areas have seen the technical aspects, not only aspects existing in the ocean but also we should look at aspects of coastal areas (inland).<p>As for technical aspects related to such a vertical datum, horizontal datum, projection systems, scale and spacing unit. The method used adalan study analyzes the technical aspects used and the weaknesses and strengths. In this case particularly discussed are the problems of vertical datum differences between islands (Java and Sumatra).<p>After doing anilisis then obtained a solution of the problems that occur. In addition, the vertical datum differences problem can be solved with the visualization and the formulation, so that it makes the determination of the technical aspects are suitable in the process of installing a pipeline under the sea (the Java-Sumatra).
