This metode can handle the complexity of earth structure where there is a significant lateral velocity variations. One of important requirements that has to be fulfilled is an accurate interval velocity model. In this research, Dix transformation, coherency inversion and tomography are used to fulfil that requirement. Generally, PSDM gives better image compared to PSTM, it is defined by the better definition of fault and better continuity. text
