| Summary: | Location is one of the most important things to be considerate before starting a housing development project. To get the best location, many developers do a selection process before the housing development project planning.Now a days, a housing location selection are still do by conventional method with only considering a limited number of criteria and time consuming. In order to the decision making process, a new method using information technology is introduced. This Method not only considering more criterions generate more accurate decision but also has time effectiveness. This thesis develop model that integrate many technical criteria and financial criteria in the housing location selection to get the best alternative location for housing using Geographic Information System as a tool. The selection process also used scoring method for priority of the location. Finally, this model will be tested in Semarang where as a case study. |
