The research devoted to figure out the pyrite sulphur genetic and knows the affect of paleoenvironment, geological structures to the content of sulfur in D and E coal seam. The observation was objected to the coal samples which produced from drilling exploration on pit airlaya coal mines. Analysis which conducted was petrogaphic, sulphur content and SEM (scanning Electron Microscop) analyses compiled with <br /> <br /> <br /> proximate analyses, calorivic value dan vitrinite reflectance. Based on four parameters of coal paleoenviroment reconstruction like TPI (tissue <br /> <br /> <br /> preservation index), GI (gelification index), GWI (groundwater index) and VI (vegetation index), it could be interpreted that the coal Seam D and E is deposted <br /> <br /> <br /> in the upper delta plain environment with type of ombrotrophic peat. According to sulphur analysis the total sulphur mean of D coal seam was 1.6% dominated by organic and pyrite sulphur. Meanwhile on E coal seam content total sulphur mean 0,94% which dominated by organic sulphur. Post coalification structural geology appeared to upgrade the coal rank much variable condition in seam D and seam E coal, but this term not quite affect to sulphur content on D and E coal seam which correspond with the type of plant and also paleoenvironment condition. It's relevant to form of sulphur analyses, petrographic, dan SEM analysis that show the shape of pyrite sulphur dominated by syngenetic. text |
