while the quality of feldspar was approach by the methods of petrography, XRF and XRD analyses. The characterization of feldspar deposit hence can be used as to delineate the quality and general utilization purpose. The lithology unit in research area can be divided in to sandstone unit, altered tuff unit and dacite unit. The lithology units are equivalent with Genteng Member of Jampang Formation. The XRD anlysis indicate that the feldspar in the area can be grouped in

albite feldspar, while petrography and XRD analysis indicate the occurrence of hydrothermal alteration minerals. Base on laboratory analysis, the occurrence of

feldspar in Kertasari Area can be categorized as diagenetic feldspar and hydrothermally altered sedimentary piroclastic tuff as host rock. The result of chemical analysis indicate the feldspar consist of K2O + Na2O varying between 5.35% - 6.4%, Fe2O3 varying between 0.39% - 1.46% and CaO varying 0.35% - 0.87 %. The chemical composition indicate that the feldspar in research area can be utilized as ceramics base material (SNI No. 1145 - 1984 ) with inferred resource of
