Summary: | A partial CRS stacking method is developed to enhance quality of prestack seismic data. CRS Supergather obtained by this method regularized and have better signal-to-noise ratio compared to original CMP gathers. CRS Supergather can be used in further conventional processing steps, e.g., velocity analysis or prestack depth migration, providing enhanced images and better quality control. Partial CRS stacking operator equal to ZO CRS Stacking operator. Partial CRS stacking operator is a function from three CRS attribute which each other independent. CRS attributes give us more detail information about the subsurface consist of emergence angle α and the two radii of wavefront curvatures RNIP and RN. Those CRS attributes extracted from prestack seismic data using optimization scheme with coherence as objective function to obtain the best stacking surface in every ZO sample. In this thesis, seismic data processed with conventional method, ZO CRSStacking method, and Partial CRS Stacking method for synthetic and real seismic data. We verified the Partial CRS Stack method on synthetic data. In Real data, the acquisition parameter used 6 km streamer length, 480 live channel. Recording time 8s and sampling interval 2ms. From the conventional processing result there is seen a complex geology structure. Partial CRS Stack processed using resampling data to decrease running time. From the result, We can see Partial CRS Stack produced seismic section that give us better quality than conventional section, although the data has been reduce. |
