Description
Summary:Geostatistical method is reliable in estimating coal resources, because of its ability to calculate the estimation error. Geostatistical distribution requires a

representative sample of the entire study area. In fact, the average distance that is not the same drilling allows a calculation under estimate or over estimate. In this research, comparison and classification of coal resources estimated between data declustering and non declustering by Ordinary Kriging method. Review Lati coal mining region, East Kalimantan, Tanjung Reudeub on seam R. The results indicated coal resource estimate for the data without weighting (non declustering) of 117.41 million tonnes while the value of the estimated coal

resources with the weighting system (declustering) of 115.71 million tonnes. Referring to the JORC (1999) in de Souze et al (2002). Error estimates for measured resources 0-10%, indicated 10-20% and inferred > 20%, then the result pengklafikasian coal resources in Seam R at the whole cluster in the data that has been weighting (declustering) and without weighting (non declustering) of coal resources in Seam R is considered the measured coal resources.
