Summary:The width of Indonesian seas are estimated 5,8 millions km2 and the length of the coastline is 81.000 km and it is the second longest coastline in the world after the Canadian coastline [TNI AL, 2008]. To manage this large potency of the Indonesian seas, a good, right, complete and detail geospatial information about Indonesian seas are needed in the form of nautical information. One of the type of nautical information is co-tidal chart This thesis will discuss about the making of co-tidal chart of Indonesian seas and its use for sailing safety or navigation.
