This method is conducted by analyzing traveltime of seismic wave that propagating from sources to receivers that are placed on the surface. This method is very easy to be implemented because it only requires the data of first arrival traveltime from every source to every receiver. First, doing simulation of seismic waves which over the model of vertical intrusion using FWM2DPSV software. The aim of simulation of seismic waves is to identify the wave events which over the model of vertical intrusion. Second, reconstructing seismic data to get velocity model using the FAST (First Arrival Seismic Tomography) software. The aim of this reconstruction is to know the shape of vertical intrusion after reconstructing use this software. The vertical intrusion model selected because it was representing high-velocity anomaly. Study of refraction seismic tomography use real data has done in Seling area, Kebumen regency, Central Java province, Indonesia. Seling area was represented the gristle area where the land is displacing 5 cm every years. Case of this displacement is come from unstable mass at above layer boundary. Study of refraction seismic tomography has done to identify this boundary plane in subsurface. text
