Description
Summary:Along with the rising of world oil price, the level of gas demand is also growing up. Various methods are use to improve and accelerate production, one of them is commingle completion. Commingle completion is effective to increase production, particularly for reservooir with relatively low productivity. But it raises up a new callenges in determining production allocation for multilayer gas reservoir. X field is a multilayered gas field that has been produced commingly in a long time. With production declinining, more detail evaluation is needed to see the potential of each gas reservoir layer in X field. In this study, calculation of production allocation with several common methods in oil and gas industries were used, PI weighting method and Production Rate Ratio method. In this study also conducted modification of Production Rate Ratio method by using deliverability test analysis. After getting allocated production of each layer, gas reserve and Initial Gas In Place (IGIP) for each reservoir could be determined too. After that potential of each reservoir layer could be known and also completion methodology that will be suitable for X field in order to increase gas recovery.
