One of <br /> <br /> <br /> the most natural disaster which is happened in Indonesia is slope failure and potential area at most are Java Island, precisely West Java. Based on previous research which held by relevant institution of slope failure <br /> <br /> <br /> occurence in Sumedang, has known that the caused factor of this occurence is water (Directorate Geology of Environment, 2000). Other research also mention, that big sliding which was held on Sumedang at Cadaspangeran area causing by torrential rains one day before (Puslit Geoteknologi LIPI, 2006). Based on this research which has a purpose to know comprehend about rainfall characteristic related to slope hidrology by using SEEP / w software and by reading field instrument datas, has known that rain which has perceived by during April 2008 showing changes condition of slope, such as change of pore water pressure distribution, volumetric water content, vertical speed of flow, vertical hydraulic conductivity, and also total head changes, in the otherhand forming of positive pore water pressure zone happened only on the surface of slope after rain <br /> <br /> <br /> simulating for 20 day, and the condition did not take too long when the amount of water is little than before. While from reading field instrument datas it known that <br /> <br /> <br /> pore water pressure in soil becomes more positive after rain happened during 3-6 hour with big intensity and the other factor which give influence in infiltration process besides soil hydraulic conductivity, known as mineral composition in soil, shape of grain size, topography condition, slope inclination, and also geology condition, crack. text
