Summary:The fabrication of thin films ZnO and ZnO doped aluminum (AZO) with reflux treatment and the application on hybrid solar cells inverted structure bulk heterojunction donor P3HT and acceptor PCBM was investigated. With structure ITO/AZO(ZnO)/P3HT:PCBM/PEDOT:PSS/Ag. Reflux treatment on precursor solution exhibit effect on ZnO properties and the nanostructure. ZnO and AZO thin films were deposited using spin coating onto indium tin oxide (ITO) and glass substrates. The properties of thin films ZnO and AZO was investigated with UV-Vis spectroscopy, resistivity with four-point probe method, XRD, and SEM. Doped aluminum exhibited effect on conductivity and nanostructure. ZnO and AZO thin films on hybrid solar cell were used as electron transport layer (ETL) and exhibit reflux treatment effect on the performance. ZnO thin films with reflux treatment exhibited Jsc =15 mA/ cm2 , Voc = 0,33 V, FF =32,9 %, and PCE=1,64 %, AZO thin films with reflux treatment exhibited Jsc =15,7 mA / cm2 , Voc = 0,46 V, FF =33,5 %, dan PCE =2,42 %.
