Description
Summary:One of the method to determine orbital elements of visual binary star is Thiele-Innes-Van Den Bosch method. This method will account three observational datas, there are initial data, middle data, and the last data. Then it will be calculated anomaly eccentricity (E), mean anomaly (M) and Thiele-Innes's constants to determine the orbital elements. This method derived by analyzing the relations between true orbit and apparent orbit. In the determination of visual double star's orbital elements with Thiele-Innes method, we modified the original data manually. This modification needed the data observation to fulfll the Kepler II's Law. In this work the data observation that used is separation angle and position angle. The aim of this work is to know the orbital elements of visual double star SCJ 22. This work requires analytical and numerical study. In addition to determine the element orbit, we also calculated the mass and distance of visual double star with Baize-Romani method. These calculations can be done after knowing the orbital elements of binary star. The data obtained from Washington Double Star (WDS) catalogue. <br />
