Summary:We present a study of Image Processing Software Exploration in the Sun at wavelength of H-&#945; (6563Å) observed at Bosscha Observatory to get Filament morphology. In the H-&#945; image, contrast and brightness enhancement is carried out using Registax. ImageJ software was used for thresholding process and area measurement of Filament. Comparison of some processes in the solar image processing was done to obtain the best image quality. Contrast and brightness enhancement process by Registax provide better contrast than an image processed by CLAHE ImageJ meanwhile image -> adjust -> threshold on ImageJ was selected as the best thresholding process in an image. <br /> <br /> During the period June 16th, 2012 until June 19th, 2012 we obtained Filament morphology to studied. From four sun images obtained, we identified chirality of Filament as dextral chirality because during the four-day, Filament are always located in the northern hemisphere of Sun’s disk. Filaments also have changes in area measurement characterized by widening of the Filament. In addition, the Filaments faded and looks disconnected indicating suffered material loss in the Filament. Filaments also tilted and moved with the slope parallel to the solar equator caused by Sun’s Differential Rotation.
