To encourage the development of oil and gas field in Indonesia, particularly in the deep ocean strip, necessary incentives so that the field has become attractive for development. Incentives are needed such as to reduce the risk and expected to find oil and gas reserves greater. Some things that affect the economics of the field is the contract system, the amount of reserves, investment and operating costs. Contract system in Indonesia known system with a fixed or flexible. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Some have given government incentives to companies to conduct exploration and exploitation in the deep sea. The third-generation contract system has imposed incentives for companies to undertake exploration activities in the deep ocean by providing investment credit in accordance with the depth of the sea, and a 15% price DMO interesting split in accordance with the depth of the sea. The incentive is for the moment no longer applied in the system of the new contracts. System contracts provide a fixed revenue split and give 10% FTP that is not shared (non-shareable). <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The problems faced today we should find a solution to support exploration activities in the deep sea. The government is expected to provide an attractive contract system for investors by not compromising state revenue. Attractive contract system will encourage investors to conduct exploration and exploitation in Indonesia. Flexible contract model based on the benefits and cost of the contractor is expected to be an alternative solution that can be used for the development of gas fields in the deep ocean. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Necessary fiscal system more flexible and guarantee profits or reduce the risk of the contractor to provide the Government section or GT (Government Take) is small for R / C (Revenue / Cost) small and large GT for R / C big policies for oil and gas Contractors that are more eager to develop high-cost petroleum prospects such remote areas and deepwater, EOR projects and gas fields of medium and small as in Malaysia and other countries.
