The aims of study are to gain information about subsurface anomalies using SP method and determine the relationship between topographic effect and measurement result. The study was conducted at two lines with electode spacings at 5, 10, and 15 metres, respectively. The deposit model is assumed by the cave in Taman Hutan Raya, Ir. Juanda, Bandung. In order to create isopotential contour, the whole set of SP data is generated using Surfer 8. The modelling of SP data, which is assumed by cylinder model type, is proccessed using SPinv. The parameters modelling are the depth of deposit (h) and the distance from origin (D). The depth of deposit at line 1 and line 2 were located at 6.2 and 16.2 metres, respectively. The fitting curve between calculated and observed model at line 1 showed that the distances from origin (D) of deposit model, with electrode spacings at 10 and 15 metres, are located at 21.42 and 10.20 metres, respectively. The interpretation at line 2 showed that the depth of deposit (h) and the distance from origin (D) are located at 16.2 and 8.42 metres, respectively. This interpretation was similiar with the field condition at line 2. text
