On the other hand the reinforced steel as a result of heat treatment is Tempcore. Based on the provision of ASTM, the component of reinforced concrete, which is part of ground motion load system, is recommended using the reinforced steel with Tempcore and Vanadium. In the earthquake resistant structure, the basic important on the mechanics of material reinforced <br /> <br /> steel are the yield and tensile strength, ductility, overstrength, and the ratio of the ultimate yield to tensile strength. In this study, the result of the application material reinforced steel with Vanadium <br /> <br /> and Tempcore into the element of concrete structure, that is a part of the system of the earthquake resistant structure, will be presented. Four cantilever beams with <br /> <br /> Vanadium and Tempcore Reinforced Steel is applied. The sample beam will be conducted using monotonic and cyclic load that represented the earthquake simulation. The advantages and disadvantages of the application material <br /> <br /> reinforced steel with Vanadium and Tempcore will be evaluated that includes hysterisis behavior, level of ductility, and the pattern of the obtained fracture. The <br /> <br /> result show that the application of Vanadium reinforced steel gives the same result as the ASTM A706M with the component earthquake resistant concrete structure <br /> <br /> and also gives the good result in the case of cyclic loading that correspond to the earthquake simulation. On the other hand, the application of the Tempcore reinforced steel shows relatively unprivileged result. text |
