Summary: | Galaxy clusters are the most massive gravitationally bound structures in the universe with a mass range of 1012 M ≤ M ≤ 1015 M. Galaxy clusters play an important role in observational cosmology due to their their bound and relaxed structures because their evolution is directly related to the growth of cosmic structures, especially large-scale structures. Clusters are ideal
laboratories for studying interactions between galaxies and the effect on galaxy population because of their high densities.
In this Thesis, we will discuss the Abell 0957 cluster which is one of the first clusters studied by George O. Abell in 1958 in his catalogue. After much data compiling using a statistical approach by Bukhari & Cram by calculating the mean and deviations of the radial velocity v and projected distance from the cluster center r, we have determined the physical properties of
determine the detected groups. |
