Geothermal integrated survey in this area has been conducted in 1972, 2007, and 2009 by the Center for Geological Resources. In this study, the results of integrated survey is reviewed to improve the understanding of the Bonjol geothermal system and conceptual model. Potential resources was calculated to assess the feasibility study of this area to give WKP boundary and electricity price recommendation. The result of the study suggests that Bonjol geothermal area is a geothermal system which is situated in pull-apart basin and controlled by Sumatra Fault system. The lithology of this field is dominated by Quarternary volcanic rocks. Prospect area of 16 km2 with the possible resources of 98 MW is assumed to be constrained by pull-apart basin structural boundary. Furthermore, the compilation of technical and non-technical factors suggests proposed WKP of 107 km2. text
