Endut which are inactive andesitic volcanoes.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> From geological point of view, there are many cut slopes on Awibengkok area, done to make highway, power plant construction, steam pipe installation, employee mess, and other treatment to accelerate exploitation activity of geothermal resource on that area. One of the research location is Housing research area.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> Using local geological mapping, laboratory test, and CPT (Cone Penetration Test) and SPT (Standard Penetration Test) insitu test method are supposed to achieve rock general condition characteristic so that the slope stability on the research site can be analyzed.<p> <br /> <br /> <br /> Value of safety factor and affecting conditions are based on primary field data and slope stability analysis concept in order to decide slope treatment and utilization on according to its necessity. Rock lithology is classified based on the grain size and the lithology itself (from top to bottom), which are clayey silt (altered andesite), silty clay (paleosoil), clayey silt (combination of paleosoil and weathered andesite), and sandy silt (rhyolitic tuff). text |
