Lower Talangakar Formation was bedded of braided fluvial – meander paleo environment at post-rift phase. Generally Lower Talangakar Formation consists of sandstone, claystone, and coal intercalation. <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on sensitivity analysis, the AI parameter separate lithology different very well. But this accoustic parameter can’t be applicable for identification of hydrocarbon sand at reservoir. Existing of S-wave could be sensitive to identify hydrocarbon sand. Parameters of Lambdarho*Vp/Vs Ratio and Lambdarho can separate lithology different as well as identification of hydrocarbon sand. In terms of getting lateral distribution of Lambdarho*Vp/Vs Ratio and Lambdarho parameters, so it would be used of seismic Extended Elastic Inversion method. After that, the author applied Bayesian Classfication Theorem to get the probability of hydrocarbon sand distribution. <br /> <br /> <br /> The result from slicing inversion and Bayesian Classification applied, are that sedimentation trend is SE-NW, and accumulation of hydrocarbon sand distribution is located at closure depth of reservoir which contain the value of probability more than 80%. But also, there is found of probability hydrocarbon sand contain the value 45 to 60 percent caused by stratigraphic traps. text
