The activity of bauxite mining just running for 5 years but has give great impact to Gross Domestic Regional Product (GDRP) Ketapang. Export of mineral especially bauxite in Ketapang have start in 2005. <br /> <br /> <br /> Because of bauxite mining activity, there is need to studied of bauxite mining to establishment of Ketapang and the influence to another sector to know how far the influence of bauxite mining. <br /> <br /> <br /> The study does with two aspect, technical aspect and macro-economical aspect with Input-Output Analisis to get value of Backward Lingkage, Forward lingkage, and value of multiplier. After that, with Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threat (SWOT) analisis to define the Recommendation for Government’s Rule direction of Ketapang. <br /> <br /> <br /> GRDP in mining sector increase from 5,48% in 2005 to 17,29% in 2008, the value of Backward linkage and Forward linkage close to 1 (Forward linkage = 0,9612, Backward linkage = 0,6905), and the good value of surplus and income multiplier, indicate that the activity of bauxite mining need to be raise, to give more effect for another sector. Another thing that need to be attention to Government of Ketapang are recruitment of 5 personil in Mining and Energy Department and Rule of Law that support to bauxite mining.
