Summary: | Circular motion measurements performed on CNC machine tools VMC 250 (Domestic Product) showed that there were servo mismatch errors in the motor axes. Based on the problem, synchronization is required in order to produce
products with high precision. Experimental analysis was performed on the machine to synchronise the motor. This thesis will discuss servo motor synchronisation servo drive system of machine tools CNC VMC 250. The method used to synchronise the motor is tuning the gain of the servo drive. Autotuning tuning process begins with the
adjustment inertia automatically and use of gain sets that has been stored in the servo drive. Autotuning can not minimize the error so the gain was tuned manually. In the manual tuning speed loop gain, speed loop integral time constant, torque feedforward gain and feedforward gain speed adjusted. Tuning managed to
minimize speed feedforward errors in the speed feedforward gain tuning. VMC 250 CNC machine tools has circularity error 1131.3μm with servo mismatch error-21.08ms before tuning applied. After tuning is applied, servo mismatch error has been successfully minimized into 0.03ms and circularity error 144.7μm. |
