It required a comprehensive analysis of the engineering and economics of field development scenarios in order to get the maximum added value. <br /> <br /> <br /> The difficulties in defining development scenarios that will be reviewed is caused by the almost infinite choice, besides it, is also caused by the lack of structured and integrated method to define the field development scenario. this thesis grouping variable selection based on wellhead, gas processing facilities and type of contract that applied. Furthermore, it will combined with each other. <br /> <br /> <br /> The case study were also conducted with the object is marginal offshore gas field located in the Madura Strait, East Java. The small gas reserves that make this field categorize into marginal is a challenge that must be anticipated with development scenario optimization. Field development stage that has entered the process of making the Plan of Development made quite detailed cost analysis is possible to be implemented. So, a detailed deterministic scenario calculation can be applied for the electoral process. It aims to maximize profits or benefits from the project to be executed. <br /> <br /> <br /> The results of the study indicate that the clustering scenarios on offshore gas field development can begin by evaluating natural conditions and also possibility to tie in to the existing surrounding facilities. After that, it can be combined with the type of wellhead, production facilities and also the type of contract that is applied. The case study with several scenarios produce the best-case scenario is dry tree to lease a production facility. <br /> <br /> <br /> What is interesting from the economic calculation of marginal gas field with ringfencing POD itself is the appearence of unrecovered cost at all scenarios that will affect the economics and further will influence the decision making process for the selection of field development strategy scenario. text |
