This thesis describes the planning of new residential areas in an area that has the potential outburst flood with penekatan concept Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD). WSUD approach is an approach to urban design and green spaces that are used in the planning of the area with a high sensitivity to water, which is expected to handle the problems that the region has the potential for flooding. The object of the research discussed in this thesis is planning Gedebage residential area in Bandung. WSUD concept is applied to simulate the design of residential areas to take into account the amount of water channels and rivers, the orientation of the region, as well as the factor of infrastructure investment in the region.
