It is important for SBM ITB to consider about their employee satisfaction in order to enhance their performance so they can be able to compete in region and support the vision and mission of the organization. This research aims to find what employee satisfaction indicators that has large contribution to employees’ performance in SBM ITB in order to give accurate improvement that gives best result in employees performance. <br />

This research uses questionnaire and interview to validate the survey result. Data received are processed using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The IPA approach consist two components: the importance and the performance. The combined respondent ratings for these two components will provide overall view of satisfaction with clear guidance for management and where to focus. <br />

The model that used for this research is adapted from Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) model which has 43 aspects of employee job satisfaction that categorized into 5 big areas. First area is about career development. Second is an employee relationship with management. Third is about compensation. Fourth is about benefit. And the last is work environment. <br />

Based on survey result, there are four aspects that need SBM ITB attention for improvements. And then after get the survey result author conducting interview with SBM ITB employees to find root cause of these four aspects that become highest priority because it is has a big influence for employees satisfaction. They are namely: Opportunity to use your skill and abilities in your work, Job-specific training, General-paid training and Management’s recognition of employee job performance. <br />

The implications of this research is to find best solution for these fouraspects. Author proposed some solutions which are counseling, designing effective training, communication. With the solution based on aforementioned indicators, it is expected that SBM ITB employees satisfaction is increase so it give them more motivation to work harder and deliver better performance for organization. <br />
