| Summary: | In continuing natural product group's studies on hemistry of Moraceous plants, we have investigated' artocarpus scortechinii King which have been collected from Sarasah Bonta, Harau, West Sumatera. By using the standard methods of isolation and separation, a simple flavone : norartocarpetin and three prenylated flavones, namely cycloartobiloxanthone, artonin E and artobiloxanthone were obtained in chloroform extract of bark of A. scortechinii. The structures of these compounds were identified based on physical and spectroscopic data. |
